A Bit About Me…
I am a British photographer based in the UK. Outside commercial work my photography practice looks at connecting stories of people, geography and landscape.
Growing up in England I moved to study Rhetoric & Communication at the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA to return to London into the world of advertising management. An influential travel sabbatical led me my first solo photography exhibition, A Year, at The Royal Geographical Society in London.
After some years of photography commissions that included capturing daily life in and around the iconic Marylebone Cricket Club at Lord's Cricket Ground, projects across corporate, editorial, educational, and charity worlds, collaborating with clients such as BackUp, Getty Images, Henley Royal Regatta, Lord’s Cricket Ground, O2, and Thrive.
I progressed to study a Master’s degree in Photography at the University of Brighton with Scottish Referendum being published in The Daily Telegraph along with other projects including The Long March - Revisited.
My work has been shown in galleries far and wide, from the prestigious Getty Images Gallery in London to the vibrant Affordable Art Fairs in London and New York City. My pieces have also graced the walls of The Royal Geographical Society, The Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, The Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh and the Chelsea Harbour Design Centre in London.
I have been shortlisted for the annual Royal Academy of Art Summer Exhibition, Royal Photographic Society Exhibition, Photo Book Now and have instigated numerous books for Henley Royal Regatta, Lord’s Cricket Ground and other photography publications.
My work is in a number of collections and private collections in the UK and abroad.
